Cabana Restaurant Review

I know I already posted two post this month, but I had to make another post because I went to another restaurant again and had to make a review of it!

I got invited to my friend’s birthday meal, the location that she had her meal at was at Cabana Restaurant.

Cabana Restaurant is known as the UK’s hottest grill from Brasil. Flame-grilled skewers cooked fresh to order, with street food, cocktails and interiors inspired by the beaches, streets and markets of modern Brasil.

For the meal, I got ‘Spicy Malagueta Chicken Burger’ which is avocado, tomato, lettuce and malagueta mayo. That cost £9.95.

For drinks, I got a ‘Red Tail Parrot’ which is cachaca, strawberry, passionfruit purees and lime juice topped with prosecco. That cost £7.95.

I didn’t get a starter or dessert just because I had a feeling that I wouldn’t be able to finished the food which I am glad that I didn’t get.

Overall the food tasted really good for its price and the cocktail tasted amazing. Would recommend going there for a causal meal.

Speak to you guys soon.

True Red BBQ Restaurant Review

It been a while since I have done review on a restaurant, so here it is and I hope you enjoy this review!

Me and Reece decided to go on another meal date again at one of the most popular restaurants in Manchester. The restaurant that we went to was called True Red BBQ.

True Red BQQ is known as the American-style smoked house restaurant. Offering a range of American barbecue dishes including pulled pork, beef brisket and spare ribs. The retardant has a a tongue-in-cheek evangelical theme. Employees describe themselves as “believers”, and the restaurant’s tagline s “Let there be meat”.

Reece had to make an early booking for a table for 2 in case there wasn’t any available tables at the time we wanted to go at. If we went there without booking a table, there were high chances that the restaurant will be fully booked and have to wait for over 3 hours for a free table.

For starters, we had ‘Mac-N-Cheese Balls’ which was 3 mac-n-cheese balls served with a Pickleback BBQ dipper (we had 5 which cost an additional £2.00). We also had ‘XXXL Pit Smoked BBQ Wings’ which was 10 wings marinated in ‘Unholy’ sauce which is just a mild sauce and we choose ‘Ranch Dressing’ as our dipper. The ‘Mac-N-Cheese Balls’ cost £4.95 and the ‘XXXL Pit Smoked BBQ Wings’ cost £10.95.

For mains, I had the ‘Classic Bacon Cheeseburger’ which had tomatoes, onion, pickle and lettuce. (with giant onion with an additional £1.00). Reece had ‘Pit Burger’ which was two patties, USDA approved Black Angus brisket, Red’s pulled pork, smoked peppered bacon, melted cheese, tomatoes, onion, pickles and lettuce. (Includes a giant onion). The ‘Classic Bacon Cheeseburger’ cost £8.95 and the ‘Pit Burger’ cost £16.95.

For desserts, I had ‘Ice cream by The Licktators’ in chocolate ripple. It came with 3 scoops. Reece had ‘Kentucky Trifle’ which was cream soda and bourbon-socked sponge, malted whip pudding, pretzels popping candy and marshmallows. The ‘Ice cream by The Licktators’ cost £4.50 and the ‘Kentucky Trifle’ cost £4.95.

For drinks, I ordered two ‘Strawberry Daiquiri’ which has Havana club, monin fraise, strawberries and lime. Reece also order a ‘Strawberry Daiquiri’ as well as two ‘Orange Vodka’. The ‘Strawberry Daiquiri’ cost £7.95 per drink and the ‘Orange Vodka’ cost £3.95 per drink.

Overall, I really enjoyed eating at True Red BQQ as the atmosphere was amazing, it was lively and chilled. The waiters were very friendly and approachable. The foods were amazing, they had all different types of flavours. The foods are reasonable and worth the money. I defiantly consider going there again soon.

See you guys soon.
