All about me!

I have no idea what to write for my very first post, so i have decided to tell you some things about myself. I will probably start talking about fashion, make-up and other things later when I have something new to talk about!

My name is Cindy Lau. I was born on the 5^th of June 1998 and was born and raised in the UK. I was also born in Wakefield (near Leeds) but moved to Manchester when I was three. I’m Chinese and my Chinese name is ‘劉栢欣’ which means ‘Lau Pak Yan’. But people just call me Pak Yan because it will be a bit weird saying my surname first then my name. I was supposed to be called Kimberley but my mother decided to call me Cindy, after ‘Cindy Crawford’ (lmao I don’t blame her). My mother was born in Scotland then moved to Hong Kong and lived there for a few year then moved back to the UK and my father was born in Hong Kong. I have two brothers called James and Patrick and I have no sisters (thank god). I’m 4ft11. I have no idea why I’m not growing (probably the asian gene). I have been this height for like 6 years now and I still not have grown. I should consider drinking milk or doing sports… but who’s got time for that? My mother told me today that I have a year left to grow, yeah it looks like I’m not growing. 

Right now, I’m currently in college and I attend to ‘The Cheadle College’. I will be taking my second year at college this September. I am studying Business and Law. I also want to go to University to study Business Management. I am hoping to go to the same University as my older brother, James because it’s near home and town is literally around the corner (more shopping for me!). Also, my best friend (shout out to Mia) lives like 5 minutes from the University so I will get to drop by to see her.

I’m hoping in the future to be able to explore and travel around the world. I think it’s exciting to be in a different country that you have never been to because you will get to experience living in that country, eating different varieties of foods and also be surrounded by different people you have never met before. I have only been to Hong Kong as most of my relatives live there but I have visited to different countries such as Dubai, South Korea, France etc. (because I had to get on the next plane to Hong Kong lmao).

I’ve ran out on idea what to tell you about so I hope this was enough.
