The past couple of months have been busy for me and which had led me to not have any time to post anything. Currently, I am trying to balance my time so I able to blog as well manage go to college and gym, spend quality time with my boyfriend and close friends etc. I will try to post at least twice a month on places to visit, favourite monthly, make-up and clothing reviews etc.
Me and Reece went on another date together to a restaurant called Rosso Manchester Restaurant. I thought it was a casual restaurant that we were going to but it wasn’t. Rosso is known as one of the most famous and expensive places to eat at.
Rosso Restaurant is known as Rio Ferdinand’s Rosso restaurant is one of the top of Manchester’s prestigious King Street. Situated in a Victorian Grade II listed building, the venue is well known for its excellent food, great service and buzzing atmopsphere. The menu has a wide range of selection of favourite dishes including pizza, pasta, steaks and freashy prepared fish dishes.
That night, we manage to see two celebrities. Binky Felstead from Made in Chelsea and Vicky Pattison from Geordie Shore. Reece got a picture with Binky Felstead.
For starters, we both got ‘Bruschetta Con Zucca’ which is toasted Tuscan style bread topped with a smoked chicken and creamed pumpkin puree. The Bruschetta Con Zucca cost £7.00 each.
We also ordered ‘Funghi Selvatici’ which is a white pizza
with garlic, mixed wild mushrooms, creamy dolcelatte cheese and a sprinkling of
walnuts. The garlic pizza, I wasn’t very fond of even though I love garlic
pizza. The topping didn’t stay on properly and wasn’t cut into slices which
made it difficult for me to eat it. Funghi Selvatici cost £14.00.For mains, we got a ‘Grigliata Mista (Mixed Grill)’ which is an elaborate selection of beef ribeye, sirloin and fillet chicken, veal live, chorizo sausage and lamb cutlet, served with sautéed onions and mushroom, fresh watercress and hand cut thick chips. The platter tastes so good because it was rich meats and therefore had more taste and flavours. Grigliata Mista cost £75.00.
For dessert, I am unsure about the names of the dessert and the prices of them because I wasn’t able to find the menu but I got a chocolate cake and Reece got ‘Tiramasu’.
For drinks, Reece order orange and vodka like at least 3 times, he really enjoys drinking orange juice. I didn’t know what drink to order so the waiter recommend one of their popular cocktails which is called ‘Red Passion (Pornstar cocktail)’. I was shocked with the name because it was quite rude but it actually tasted really good. It was really sweet and tasted like a mixture of fruits. Not only I just get a cocktail, but I also got a shot of some champagne which I gave to Reece to drink as I am not a fan of champagne. Reece’s drink cost £4.50 per drink and mine cost £8.50.
I really recommend you to visit to Rosso Restaurant or at least once because the food is amazing and defiantly worth it money.
One of the things I would suggest to do when visiting Rosso Restaurant is to dress up. I didn’t wear anything causal but I felt I didn’t fit in into the theme and wished I wore something better so I could feel comfortable.
