I recently purchase a few make-up products from Boots
because I was watching makeup hauls on YouTube and they mention a brand called ‘Sleek
Makeup’ which I wanted to try out. Boots were doing a 3 for 2 deal which is amazing
because I get to pick a third make-up product for free. The other make-up product
that I purchase isn’t Sleek Makeup so I can’t really include it to this review.
Information about the products:
The first product that I have purchased is called ‘Sleek
Makeup I-Divine Palette’ in ‘Storm’ which cost £7.99. The eyeshadow palette
contains 12 shades of super pigmented mineral based eyeshadows. It contains a
mixture of simmers and matte shades which is great to create a classic smoky
effect.
The second product that I have purchased is called ‘Sleek
Makeup Face Form Palette’ in ‘Fair’ which cost £9.99. The contouring & blush
palette comes with a contour powder, highlight and blush. It is available for
all type of shades from light to dark so anyone can purchase their type of
shade.
Review:
I love the packaging of Sleek Makeup, it is a smooth sleek
black packaging that represents their name. The two products that I purchased
contains a large mirror which is amazing as I’m able to get use when apply
make-up on. Although the packaging is quite hard to open but it good so that it
can’t open by itself and cause a mess in my bag. The sizes of the products are
perfect as I can carry them with me when I go out and it won’t take up much
space.
The eyeshadow palette is a beautiful palette. They are long
lasting, highly pigmented and easily to apply on. I can used this for any occasion
and it is very versatile to use from day to evening. It also like a dupe for
Urban Decay Naked Palette.
The face form palette is amazing to use, you can manage how
much you want to put on as it is buildable. The highlight gives out an amazing
shine and the blush looks like a dupe for Nars ‘Orgasm’ blush.
Overall, Sleek Makeup are long lasting, have great value and
really affordable. I recommend you guys to try this out!
